25 Bough Street is vision and initiative by Lanre Ajakaiye. Lanre is a social entrepreneur, community and commercial developer connecting community impact to revenue and sustainability. He is the first person in New England to be approved by the SEC to crowdfund real estate.
Lanre is a native of Providence, Rhode Island and the first generation son of West African immigrants from Lagos, Nigeria. His early childhood days were spent not far from the location of 25 Bough street in school at St. Mary's a short distance away and playing baseball in the Silver Lake area. He would later attend, Classical High School, a public school with national award and ranking. He has been inducted into the MLK City of Providence Hall of Fame for Community leadership and Classical high school's Hall of Fame for athletics in Track & Football with records enduring 20+ years. He is a 2021 Who To Watch recipient from Providence Monthly. He is a recognized innovator and community leader helping to get the state name changed at the city and then state level in 2022.
A change agent, innovator and postive disruptor, Lanre was a Chief Development Officer for the United Way of Rhode Island, Senior Vice President of Sales for ArdorNY.com real estate in Manhattan (NY, NY) where he led the expansion, growth and development of the real estate company among others. In real estate, Lanre would eventually earn the level and pass all accreditation to become a real estate broker along with numerous awards and accolades. He has always blended his career with social impact for youth, family and community. He is passionate about youth and community building and does so providing solutions to gaps with dynamic, community driven and empowering offerings. He is the person behind the sales, marketing, brand and sponsorship strategy for R.I.S.E Women's Leadership conference (RISEWLC.COM) debuting in 2018 with sold out attendance in all years and now the City's and one of New England's most loved events. In the past, Lanre has been the founder of The New England Family Fun Festival, an event where he obtain sponsorship from 15+ companies to deliver a low cost, family event, bringing over 6k+ in its 1st year at the state's biggest venue, the Convention Center (https://vimeo.com/94422554).
He has a Master's in Business from Boston University. Lanre is also an alumni of Leadership Rhode Island being voted Class Speaker by his classmates (2017). In 2018, he was asked to serve on the planning committee. In 2019, he received the honor of being co-chair of the 2019 Omicron II Leadership Rhode Island class. In the past, Lanre has held various roles where he has transformed and awakening organizations towards their true potential and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon!
